Creative Service

Mission Creative brings a team approach to our work, so while one may lead the project, all members of our staff provide input so we can deliver the best solutions possible. We've developed a few tools that help us find those answers and that allow us to work efficiently and effectively together. By following these processes, we spend less time reinventing wheels and more time churning out solid results for our clients.

Prior to starting your project, one of our account services staff will visit with you to learn more about your business, goals, expectations, and project requirements. This stage of our process also provides an opportunity for you to learn more about Mission Creative and our expectations. Using the information gathered during the intake session we will develop a proposal containing estimated fees for the project.

Upon approval, a Creative Strategy Session will be scheduled. This meeting between your team and our designers gives the people working on your project the opportunity to really understand your needs. They will use the information gathered to develop and present a creative solution that fits perfectly with your marketing goals.

We believe our best work happens when our clients are as dedicated to the process as we are. This collaboration allows us to truly become partners and provides the greatest opportunity for mutual growth and success. Our mission is to work with you to develop a relationship in which ideas + strategy + creativity can live happily ever after.

While we’re not in the business of seeking professional justification in the form of awards, we do use creative competitions as a means of measuring our work against other agencies, both locally and nationally.

Each year the Advertising Club of Dubuque hosts the local component of the American Advertising Federation's three-tier advertising competition. The top fifteen winners are forwarded to the regional 9th District competition. The 9th District encompasses five states with metropolitan centers including Kansas City, St. Louis, Omaha, Wichita, Topeka, Cedar Rapids, the Quad Cities and Des Moines.

Since 1996, Mission Creative has won dozens of ADDY® and Citation of Excellence awards as well as 58 Final Fifteen awards. We have won six Citations of Excellence at the district level and in 2005 were blessed with a District ADDY®.

Our work has found its way into numerous industry publications such as HOW and PRINT, as well as being featured in The Best Invitation, The Best Direct Response Design, Card and Announcement Design, Letterhead and Logo Design 5, 1000 Greetings, Best of Business Card Design 5 & 6, Color Graphics (all by Riockport Publishers, Glouchester, Mass) and Fresh Ideas in Limited Budget Design (North Light Books, Cincinnati, Ohio). The awards we received from industries like tourism, healthcare, and beauty further justify recognition by fellow advertisers.
